Welcome SPRING! This has been one of the longest most consistently cold winters in North Georgia that I can remember. For most of us, Spring is certainly a welcome friend.
However, with its many benefits come some unwelcome side effects. So many people suffer from seasonal allergies brought on by mother nature. Did you know that the best way to fight mother nature is WITH mother nature? That's right, you can actually get her to be on your side.
I have helped many people overcome seasonal allergies through some wonderful products by Melaleuca. The products are the ProVex line of products. ProVex and ProVex Plus may be used with children, teens and young adults. ProVex CV is a cardiovascular product but is extremely effective against allergies in adults over the age of 35.
Shirley started sneezing and wheezing last week. I immediately started making sure that she took ProVex CV - once in the morning, once in the evening. Her sneezing, watery eyes, and wheezing are gone, just like that.
Many people don't realize that seasonal allergies are also caused by environmental sensitivities that we create for ourselves. This happens when we SPRING CLEAN and expose our systems to TOXIC chemicals in the cleaners we use. We are an increasingly chemical society. The ads that we receive are seductive: "Spray that crib." "Wipe down that high chair." "Spray this, pour that, etc." Here is a checklist you can use to see what toxic and potentially harmful products you have in your home.
Did you know that childhood asthma has increased over 200% in the last 20 years? Did you know that a government study has shown that women who stay at home are 54% more likely to get cancer than women who work outside the home? Exposure to household chemicals is certainly a factor. Take a tour of our virtual home to learn more about the dangers of chemicals in home care as well as personal care products. Also available at this site is a free ebook: "Is Your Home a Healthy Home".
In conclusion, we are all glad to see Spring arrive - beautiful flowers, warm temperatures, The Masters, Baseball, Easter, etc. Please let us help you increase your enjoyment of this beautiful season. Simply complete one of the forms on the sites above and we will be in a position to help you. We are here to enhance lives and help you Make Life Good!

The American Dream
Hello friends!
I was having a discussion today with a friend concerning some of the economic troubles we are facing. I began to think about this blog, and I wondered if the topic was timely.
So many Americans are facing difficult days; with 10% + unemployment (the real figure is closer to 16% if you include those who have given up searching for work) and families being torn apart by political division and cultural strife and shock, it is easy to become a "negative thinker." The optimists appear to be losing. I am an optimist. I don't like losing.
So, I began counting blessings. I love the old Hymn that I learned in church, Count Your Blessings. It goes like this:
"Count your blessings name them one by one.
Count your blessings see what God has done."
Bing Crosby sang a great old song, called Counting My Blessings in which he sang about being able to "fall asleep, counting my blessings."
It got me to thinking about the American Dream, and taking a moment to re-wrap my mind around what that is. The American Dream is above all else individual liberty and freedom. Although this is certainly not our Grandparent's America (and the landscape is changing rapidly everyday) the opportunity for us to reclaim the totality of the country's framers' ideals of individual liberty is at our doorstep.
We have an opportunity to dream big dreams and achieve great things. I am calling for a rebirth of individual liberty. There is a dream inside the soul of every man, woman and child in this nation and that is a dream to live free. It is that dream that drives people across our boarders and to our shores.
It is the desire deep within an American to be INDEPENDENT of government assistance and intervention that our forefather's fought to preserve. Unfortunately our nation is becoming a nation of those who look outwardly for a hand out instead of inwardly for the solution to personal sustenance. I am ALL ABOUT HELPING people. I am all about helping people HELP THEMSELVES! I am all about helping people realize that there is a desire deep within to be FREE.
Does the American dream really exist? Is it possible to achieve today? Absolutely. Use today to look within and examine self. What is your American dream? How can you achieve it? How may I help you?
Be blessed!

Make Life Good by Saving When You Eat Out!
Everyone likes to eat out! There is nothing like food, fun and fellowship that can be enjoyed with family and friends at a nice restaurant.
We have discovered something that helps make life good. Restaurant.com offers gift certificates to really nice restaurants in your area. Most people are aware that this is the case. What many don't know is that you can purchase these certificates at 60 to 80% discount.
The normal $10 gift certificate may be used when the total bill is $20 or more. A $25 certificate may be used when the total bill is $35 (in rare cases) or $50 (in most cases.) Alcohol is not included! The restaurant will add the 15% to 18% gratuity to your check for you. The amount of the gratuity will be mentioned on the certificate when you print it out. Larger certificates ($50, $75, and ever $100 certificates) are often available. This means you can invite friends to go with you and the savings are SIGNIFICANT!
Now -- here is the fun part. You may purchase these certificates at a HUGE discount by simply knowing the right code to use. Most of the time the discount is 60%. This means you can purchase a $10 certificate for $4, and a $25 certificate is $10. As I am writing this today, the discount is 70%. That means a $10 certificate is $3 and a $25 certificate is $7.50! At least twice a month you can buy certificates at 80% discount! That's right, do the math! A $10 certificate for just two bucks, and a $25 certificate for just $5!!!
All you have to do is know the right code. Now this gets tricky because the coupon discount code may change almost daily. NO PROBLEM. The daily discount code and percentage are posted daily at MakeLifeGood.com It's just another way that we, well, make life good!
Enjoy!

Blogging about the good life.
"Life is good." Have you ever heard anyone say that? How about, "Life is hard?"
The good life is something that everyone strives to achieve. Our writings here are meant only to encourage. While it is our intention to enhance your life and to point you in the right direction towards the "good life," we understand how hard life can be.
It is our goal to provide advice, and some vehicles with which you can use to improve your life. Hopefully you will be able to share with us and with others some of your experiences that help make life good too.
Here you will find experience based advice. We don't claim to have or to know all of the answers. What we do know is what we have experienced. What we have experienced has been far from easy. It has indeed been hard. But it has also indeed been good.
Jesus promised His followers an abundant life. One fellow quipped, "Sure, an abundance of pain, and abundance of sorrow, that's what I have." Throughout my 51 years, there certainly has been an abundance of pain and sorrow. Life is full of trials. But as I look back I am reminded of the the wonderful blessings that I have known - the friends and family who have loved me in spite of my short-comings, my children and now my grandchildren; when I think about where I was, where I am and most importantly where I am going, I cannot help but share with you my experiences and offer that which is totally GOOD to you.
So, please enjoy our little blog. We hope to always leave you with a nugget that you can take away to help make your life good.
